Why hire an in-house designer when you can have one on call? That’s exactly what I am for Austin Bluewater—a leading manufacturer of wastewater treatment systems.
They first approached me with an established brand that was starting to feel tired, and a collection of outdated marketing material (some of it still being knocked up in Microsoft Word). It didn’t reflect the quality or capability of their business, and it was time for a change.
The approach.
Rather than scrapping everything, I built on the fundamentals of their original logo—refreshing the byline and developing a flexible suite of logos that work confidently across both print and digital. From there, we gave the brand a complete refresh across key touchpoints: stationery, fleet graphics, brochures, catalogues, and more.
Over time, I’ve become their go-to designer—trusted to produce everything from annual product catalogues and end-user brochures to custom diaries, wall planners, customer service manuals and other internal and external documents. No matter the format, the goal has remained the same: to bring consistency, clarity, and professionalism to every piece of communication.
The website.
The website redesign was a major milestone in the brand refresh. Their previous site was clunky, outdated, and hard to manage—they had to outsource every small update, which was both expensive and painfully slow. It just wasn’t working for a business that needed to stay current and responsive.
I led the complete overhaul—restructuring the content, improving navigation, and designing a clean, responsive interface that aligned with their updated visual identity. A core focus was making the site practical and easy to use internally. Now, the Austin Bluewater team can make their own updates quickly and confidently.
Each product has its own page with dedicated technical downloads, giving customers and installers easy access to the information they need. The final result is a professional, user-friendly platform that supports the business and saves time behind the scenes.
